United Airlines Maintenance Instructors voted to ratify their new agreement
United Airlines Maintenance Instructors voted to ratify their new agreement today in significant numbers. The agreement, which calls for improvements in wages, pension, and benefits, was tentatively agreed to last month after 4 years of bargaining.
The new contract will benefit Maintenance Instructors of both legacy United and legacy Continental and bring both groups together under a single agreement.
Many thanks to all the voting Instructors for their support and to our Negotiating Team members - Russ Allen, Frank Bussey, Wayne Martin, and Dave Stegge for their dedicated work on behalf of our members. We also thank Charlie Knight and Tom Burns for their service on the Team prior to their retirement.
Implementation of the contract will begin immediately..
